Interview with Mildred Patrick, a schoolteacher, concerning her experiences as a resident of Hamilton Park, Texas from 1959 to 1991. Patrick discusses her youth in East Texas, her education in segregated schools, her decision to move to Hamilton Park, home improvements, church activities, Hamilton Park School, flooding problems, the desegregation of Hamilton Park School and the coming of Pacesetter, violations of deed restrictions, zoning problems, the "Buy Out," and recent changes in the neighborhood.
